Financial Analyst

Responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making financial management and investment decisions for public or private institutions or for individuals. A Financial Analyst interprets data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks and economic influences pertinent to investments. A person in this position then recommends investment timing and buy-and-sell orders to individuals or organizations or to the staff of an investment establishment. Other duties may include purchasing investments for a company, according to company policy and in compliance with state and federal law.
