Human Resources Manager

Responsibe for overseeing human resource management activities of an organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources. A Human Resources Manager plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates policies, procedures, and work activities of subordinates and staff relating to recruitment; testing; placement; classification; orientation; compensation; benefits; labor, employee, and industrial relations; and compliance with government regulations and industry standards. A person in this position develops methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices. A Human Resources Manager prepares and delivers presentations and reports to corporate officers or other management personnel to present the personnel operations budget, forecast employment needs, and recommend human resources-related changes.
